Top Sectors for Investors In a Turbulent Stock Market

FYI: (Click On Article Title At Top Of Google Search)
No doubt, the stock market is in a very different place now than it was just one week ago. The Dow Jones Industrial Average shed over 600 points since its all-time closing high set March 2 through this week’s low to date. The twin whammy of a soaring U.S. dollar and fears that strong economic reports will push the Federal Reserve into raising interest rates soon indeed took their toll.

But despite short-term technical supports breaking to the downside, the stock market is still in reasonable shape as the long-term chart of the benchmark Standard & Poor’s 500 shows (see Chart 1). And several parts of the market continue to hold up well to present themselves as candidates for purchase even with this month’s wounds still raw.

Ted
