  • Not sure if this belonged with Ms. Meyer's or Mr. Ritholtz's article but you gotta love it:

    "Please use the comments to demonstrate your own ignorance, unfamiliarity with empirical data and lack of respect for scientific knowledge. Be sure to create straw men and argue against things I have neither said nor implied. If you could repeat previously discredited memes or steer the conversation into irrelevant, off topic discussions, it would be appreciated. Lastly, kindly forgo all civility in your discourse . . . you are, after all, anonymous."

  • Population will grow by over one-third in the next ten years? Scary.
  • Uber-wealthy group "swells?" Let's see... 173,000 compared to a world population of... 7.2 billion? Hardly a swelling.
  • No doubt in my mind that better nutrition early in life is a factor in improving IQs.
