TurboTax Update: One Month After The E-Filing Halt

FYI: It was just four weeks ago that Intuit , the maker of TurboTax, abruptly suspended the transmission of e-filed state tax returns for 24 hours following a surge of fraudulent claims for refunds. There were also reports of fraudulent federal returns involving TurboTax, although the e-filing of federal returns wasn’t halted.
Today, many questions remain about what exactly happened and why the recent fraud seemed concentrated in TurboTax returns
