Fascinating post @scott. The comments are very telling, especially the one regarding money and opinion. So we should invest our money based on opinion and wishes? Not this guy.
I have not checked out this crowd funding phenomena. I prefer companies that produce a product that people want. Ideas are cheap and great but sometimes the company that came up with the idea is not the one that profits the most from it. AAPL is a prime example, taking known ideas and products and making them mainstream.
