FYI: Vanguard announced today that 24 equity index funds will distribute dividends quarterly instead of annually, starting in the third quarter of 2015.
We're making the change in order to meet investors' expectations for dividend income more effectively, as well as allow the funds to achieve operational efficiencies. In addition, distributing dividends quarterly is a common practice for the affected funds' categories
