FYI: After a record losing streak of 123 consecutive days without a gain where the national average price of gasoline fell nearly 40%, gas prices have now started a mini-streak in the other direction. According to AAA, the national average price for a gallon of gas has now gone 14 days without a daily decline. Over that time period, prices at the pump have risen an average of 7%, which is the largest two-week increase in two years. Even after that increase, though, prices are still down 35% from the levels they were when the record losing streak began.
