FYI: The number of female money managers in the U.S. has been waning since the financial crisis. Indeed, female portfolio managers have declined in number in each of the past six years, reports Chris Newlands for the Financial Times, who cites Morningstar data and 929 Media. Females now account for fewer than 7% of the nearly 7,300 managers running U.S. mutual funds. That’s down from 10% in 2009.
