Chuck Jaffe: Why We Should Be Saving For A Snowy Day
FYI: No one tells you to save for a snowy day. Saving for a rainy day, however, has been drilled into us for our entire lives. The phrase itself dates back to the 1500s, apparently originating in an Italian comedy that later was adapted into something called “The Bugbears.” Those performances have faded, but the idea hasn’t.
