FYI: Jobless claims for the latest week rose to 316K from last week's level of 297K, and they were above the consensus expectations of 290K. Today's reading was also tied for the highest seasonally adjusted weekly reading since 6/6/14. At the surface, today's report was not a good reading, but one week does not make a trend.
