    except when it's start of the year where it continues to go in one direction. without high volatility.

    which also isn't new:) and perhaps less troubling if the direction is one of ascension.

    the world in order some how.

    buy ge, watch it climb with its growth rate.

    but nothing like these days.

    i suspect at some level, we can point to the quants.
