FYI: Stocks rebounded, with the S&P 500 adding 1.2% to notch its first advance in the new year. Oil also rebounded, though recently beaten up energy stock continued to struggle. Signs of more disinflation in Europe weren’t enough to keep the market down. Minutes from the most recent Federal Reserve policy meeting didn’t do much to change the market’s view.
