Happy New Year to all!! With 2015 rolling in, I'm starting to fund the MidCaps. My view is that U.S. is the best. The world will come and buy our market. The big stuff (S&P 500), which I have plenty of....the S&P is my longest holding. What I'm looking for is a layer or two below this level of companies....well-run companies with good management that can change things when times get tough....that have new ideas and can run with them. These are the ones that still can grow and survive some mistakes. That said, I have bought FSCLX and FMEIX to run with CHTTX in this space. I see they're run by Geode Capital.... l like that as I'm not a big Fido fan. So, in this 401 account, I can only buy mutual funds, which is good. Too many choices leads to more mistakes and, God knows, I make enough. So on weakness, which I believe we will have soon, I will be buying to fund this space. I see another good year this way coming. So, party on dudes!
