  • It maybe too late already as it go beyond the point of no return. Pimco Total Return is a good example.
  • The article John cites has the symbol incorrect. The symbols for the two classes are DBLTX and DLTNX. BTW Gundlach's conference call on Tuesday reemphasized that the firm has not been interested in growing AUM at the expense of shareholder returns. FWIW. Best to all.

    Bill Gross said the same thing post-2000 when the asset of hid Pimco fund rocketed upward. Yes he made many good bets in his favor in his earlier days, but everything revert to mean particularly when the asset is simply too large.
