FYI: The Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 hit fresh records, though shares of small companies led the way on Wednesday. Gold and crude oil continued to rebound. A reading on private U.S. payrolls came in lower than expected ahead of Friday’s November jobs report from the Labor Department, though it seemed to have little impact on the market. Traders and investors both will be closely watching Thursday’s European Central Bank’s policy announcement for more easing from the Continent’s central bank.

Ted
