As the author states, this is a known behavior pattern and therefor, we can anticipate and play it - often to our advantage. They not only sell their dogs but they buy flashy winners.
And, while it may be a little late to play the frontside, you can still play the back.
They reverse most of these trades after the 1st. Starting, Jan 2, they're going to be selling the winners from 2011 and buying all the dogs they carried all year. Reason? They still feel they were right for any number of reasons AND their timing was only off last year.
So, if you missed the first, play the flip side and you can still win.
