This is a bit of old news but relevant as alternative funds continue to sprout up everywhere. American Century was once a conservative fund family but times are changing. I just got a heads up today from them regarding a new fund opening next month. American Century Multi Asset Income Fund. Basically a Unconstrained global fund.

I think we are just seeing the beginning of this John. If interest rates go up and traditional fixed income performs badly...and eventually this stock bull market will one day falter.......we are going to see alternative funds more and more. They will tout the hope of having decent returns even when traditional stock and bond market investments go sideways and in some cases down
