Hey FA'ers: Nobody wants to fight anymore? See: WSJ- "US Debt Myths"... Let's make MFO fun too!
What's the story here? We used to have really great fistfights back on FA, and it was always a challenge to see what we could get past Roy. Now we actually have an OT room, and nobody wants to use it for fun? Lots of folks have suggested that the new format doesn't lend itself to this sort of thing. Nuts... all we have to do is use it!
I thought you were referring to the time honored way of getting out of a depression, start a war. It worked inthe past like WWI, WWII, Korea, but then the affect started to dwindle.
Yeah, you're right on that one. No, we don't need any more wars right now. 1 3/4 wars (one in Afghanistan, 1/2 of one in Iraq, and another 1/4 of one in Libya) is plenty!
I'm still waiting to see how that wonderful new idea of paying for all these by reducing taxes is going to work out, but it don't look too good so far. On the bright side, we can reduce taxes even more after we privatize Medicare. That should work out swell, as long as you're a Wall Streeter or bank president.
I am a Lover first, then a Fighter. At the age of 75 I have to be prepared for an opportunity in the prime category first. What ever happened to the Gillette Wednesday Night fights?
