Bill Gross To Have Internal Competition At Janus

FYI: The two portfolio managers that Bill Gross is replacing on his new fund at Janus Capital Group aren’t household names like the former Pacific Investment Management Co. “Bond King.”
But in their management of a separate Janus fund, the Janus duo actually topped Mr. Gross’s performance over the past five years on Pimco Total Return Fund. (The Pimco fund saw heavy redemptions when Mr. Gross’s departure was announced Friday.)
