FYI: Pimco intends to expand its equities business and there will be no difference in the firm's portfolio management since the departure of former chief investment officer Bill Gross, two top Pimco executives said Tuesday.
This is IMO the wrong time to make this statement. What the world needs to know right now is PIMCO is focused on managing its bond shop. They need to see its newly minted CIOs have $1M investments in their funds. Not open equity funds where managers don't own diddly.
