Yeah, Algonquin J. Calhoun was my favorite character. I realize that some folks feel that that series was making fun of blacks, but I never saw it that way at all. Rather, it used some talented blacks to ridicule the entire human condition.
The Kingfish and Algonquin J. Calhoun are very much alive and well... the recent Wall Street/DC financial fiasco is sufficient testament to that.
