Gasoline....Is it true?

"A little-known company has cracked the energy code...

And it will soon be able to produce gasoline in America.

For $1.71 a gallon.

It's a breakthrough that seems like something straight out of science fiction. But it's real..."

Comment: add taxes and its still $3.00, so what's the big deal?

Uhhh ... no. The site below claims that it's a natural gas conversion process pioneered by SASOL which would, among other things, require a $21 billion capital outlay before launch.

In general, in a world where there are ten thousand stock analysts toiling on behalf of hedge funds, mutual funds and investment banks, with virtually unlimited access to public and not-nearly-so-public information, I'd be deeply skeptical of the emailed claims of the magic stock that only Goober has heard of.

  • Sasol is a giant South African company that has done quite well this year.
