FYI: Initial jobless claims rose more than expected this week, rising to 315K versus expectations of 300K, and up 11K from last week's revised reading of 304K. Jobless claims have been an optimistic data series for the last several months, but after this week's increase they are suddenly up 36K from their July low of 279K. This isn't necessarily a major move to the upside, but it is moving in the wrong direction.
