U.S. Adds 142,000 Jobs In August; Unemployment At 6.1%: Futures Pare Declines

FYI: - Hiring in the United States slowed in August as the economy created just 142,000 jobs, marking the smallest gain since December.

  • I found this chart striking. Something a lot of low wage earners seem to be doing these days (striking for higher pay).
