Ford Truck Sales Mostly Up Slightly Up In July

FYI: Sales of pickup trucks are often a sign of strength or weakness in the small business and construction sectors as these types of businesses are the most common users of these vehicles. With that in mind, today's figures from Ford (F) for sales of F-150 pickup trucks were modestly positive. For the month of July, Ford sold 63.24K F-150s, which represented an increase of just under 5% from July of last year. With that increase, July's F-150 total was the strongest for Ford since 2006.
