Dow within whisker of 12,000. Europe up slightly. Asia nice pop overnight with Hang Seng gaining over 4%. Bonds fizzling of late with 10 year sittin around 2.22. Recalls "222" - that being a powerful headache remedy old acquaintance kept on hand. She'd cross border from Detroit to Canada, where can be had over the counter, to stock up. Wednesday's DECISION DAY for European finance officials - again. Market expectin some good news, but could be disappointed.

Seems clear to me Hastings would like to sell that part of the business and concentrate on streaming plus other avenues that may open up. Got in on the rental just the right time and rode her well. Too much competition for the entertainment dollar now. Heck, hard enough deciding whether to surf on the iPad or read up on Kindle evenings. Throw in satellite TV, pay for view, blue ray, etc. and it's a real quandary. When dropped NetFlix 6 months or so back they asked for reasons. I indicated we can now buy perfectly fine "used" DVDs of just about anything on Amazon for 6-8 bucks, shipping included, and never need to mail em back.
