Poppycock. If His Asness didn't want Gross to feel bad, he shouldn't have done what he did. It was totally intentional. My problem is not that he did it. My problem His Asness does not have the Cajones to own up to it.
"The Quants" is a highly entertaining read that is one of those books on finance that moves along at a rapid, movie-like pace (similar to Michael Lewis books.) Asness has a famous temper, but I think he's highly intelligent and occasionally very funny (when called both a "hedge fund heavyweight" and "quant king" in the same sentence on CNBC, he remarked that "that adds up to fat geek.")
