Views & Maximum Number Characters In Text

TedTed
edited February 2014 in Technical Questions
Number of views on blue background barely readable, and on several occasion I've tried to highlight, copy and paste, articles that have been rejected in 'Discussion Title' as having too many characters. Can this be fixed ? Even subscription material from WJS & say Barron's can be copied as long as source credit is given and there is no charge to view.

Discussion Title has a limited number of characters. you need to truncate title.

    this can not be changed.
Same answer as before. database limitations and maintenance of upgrades.

the max text of body is the same as it was in previous version (10,000 characters).

Alternatively if you have an article. you could break it into two pieces or multiple pieces. and put part two in the second comment.
Changing the max characters in body of text can affect performance and you wouldn't be happy when your browser takes longer to load the discussion board.
