Here's a statement of the obvious: The opinions expressed here are those of the participants, not those of the Mutual Fund Observer. We cannot vouch for the accuracy or appropriateness of any of it, though we do encourage civility and good humor.
You have previously noted, here at MFO, an online legal web site. I did a search via Google; but none of the names caught my attention as to being correct. I am familiar with "NOLO", but I am sure you noted something else.
http://www.law.cornell.edu/ - best for reading code (statutes) and regulations, but also good for background info (somewhat like a legal encyclopedia written for nonlawyers)
http://www.findlaw.com - this site is tailored for nonlawyers, but since I like to get to the nitty gritty, I tend to use their "professional site" - see link in upper right corner of their page, i.e. http://lp.findlaw.com/
Nolo may be a bit more user friendly than these. It depends on what you're looking for - a general overview, a more precise and detailed discussion, or case law and analysis. Also a matter of personal taste.
