Real time Asian markets

Will these improve during U.S. overnight period?

For those not familiar with the linked site; one may also click onto the other global areas tabs (top) to view Europe, Americas, etc. for active data when those markets are open.

Note: Aussie's closed today.....their Monday now; and Shanghai/HK closed Thrusday and Friday this week (Lunar New Year).....Shanghai will remain closed thru Friday, Feb 7 for Lunar New Year.

  • Not looking good at all. Japan down 2.5%. Hang Seng down over 2%. It is a sea of red over here.

    ....But, play that first little video box..... It's Ben Graham and Warren Buffett wearing a different face.
  • U.S. stock futures are slightly positive. Gold's at $1270 - another nice jump. Treasuries up slightly.

    Nikkei futures closed at 14,970 on Friday in the US, so it looks like the Nikkei is actually recovering slightly today. My guess is most international funds may be up today in the US, assuming the fund did fair value pricing on Friday.

    Most markets fell sharply today. Also the emerging currencies took a hit. The Peso and the Ringgit were the worst hit.
