I guess I need to read Prof.’s piece.
I re-ran Yogi’s PV test using PRWCX as bench mark and the results were as expected, except that I was surprised by the low total for HY - the effect of compounding over 30 yrs?

Why does not MFO allow one to delete one's post, rather than forcing one to replace it with whatever. Obviously, this is not my highest wish but still a nice to have feature.
In case, markets stop behaving -
Powell speaks again next Wednesday & Thursday but other members of the Federal Reserve Board speak before then, starting tomorrow.

@hank, if I recall correctly, he used the phrase “risks appear to be balanced.” That is risks from doing too much or not enough. That is slightly more dovish from last presser and follow up media appearances where they emphasized risk management.

Guessing - YBB notes are from Powell presser?
Did Powell also say that current monetary policy and financial conditions are restrictive but may or may not be sufficiently restrictive to achieve the dual mandate but overall appear to be in balance. …
M* indicates this fund (PHEFX) has been around for four months and has gathered $2.3B AUM in the first three months. ER is 0.58% (JHQAX ER 0.83%).
Why does the OP say the fund will be available on Nov 8?
So, I shouldn't have added the AUMs from Fido (I thought I was simplifying things). Here are those as separate:
PEOPX, ER 50 bps
2021 $2.57 billion
2022 $1.87 billion
2023 $1.99 billion
DSPIX, ER 21 bps
2021 $3.20 billion
2022 $2.04 billion
2023 $…

Anyone has a back channel to GMO to check an ETA on this ETF?
David_Snowball?
Too late? I took it at 63 and do not regret it. Made my life easier and better, combined with a few other decisions.
How were you able to take Medicare at 63, I am given to understand you get to take at age 65?
I seem to have lost track of this th…
@Baseball_Fan,
I did not get to read this long thread.
My recollection from my last research on the topic is Avoid HealthEquity and Fidelity is decent.

@BaluBalu- This question has risen several times over the years. If I understand the situation correctly, the software platform used here does not support that option.

@David_Snowball,
Thanks for the post. Any reason you did not want to post this as an update to your Oct 12 thread OP?
Also, have you looked into CRDBX, another tactical fund shop? Would love to get your thoughts on this shop and the fund. Int…
If this is a retail product, one never thinks about having to trigger gains from owning an S&P 500 fund. This could suck for the owners. I am surprised TRP is willing to take a risk of coming across as insensitive to investors by not pursuing …
All three OEFs mentioned in the OP are likely in a lot of 401(k) plans. Assuming that is true, contributing factors to net inflows could be -

Buy the Dip mentality is not limited to equity investors. I think after investors emotionally recovered from last year shock drawdowns in fixed income, they may be doubling down. I do not know about active funds but buying individual high grade bo…
May be wrong question to ask but why are you guys trying to improve the fund’s processes, rather than find another fund? Why is this fund so irreplaceable?
Thanks for sharing HM memo. For an equity + fixed income investor, what I got out of the memo is, prefer
Credit over Equities
Large Cap Equities over Small Cap equities
Active over passive index
Low leverage over high leverage

@Jim0445,
If it would help you when you speak with TRP,
My employer 401(K) did not offer PRWCX but TRP allowed me to buy into PRWCX when I rolled over the 401(k) into a TRP IRA. Then I transferred PRWCX into non-TRP IRAs and added more.
Thanks, David_Snowball. Tactical allocation is a tough strategy / category, unless it is strictly rules based like CTFAX. I do not own any of them. I am happy with PRWCX and FBALX. I am probably not beating either of them.
Thanks, David_Snowball. I am confused why you own two tactical allocation funds but you recommend two entirely different ones, neither of which is Leuthold.
If there are any articles about the actual effects of the Options reset on the market, and not just what they think could go wrong articles, please share?
@FD1000, You quoted me as a header to your post and the rest of your post is not comprehensible to me in light of the quoted text. What is that I said you found objectionable?
@hank, the fund AUM is much lower now than at the end of 2021. We have seen multiple quarterly resets since the end of 2021. Not sure why Bloomberg thought this is news now, unless it has been raising this red flag all this time and I had not seen…
Why does MFO say FSUTX is Fidelity Select Utilities Growth Portfolio (FSUTX)? [Bold added]
Not even Fidelity website has the word "Growth" in FSUTX name.
M* style classification puts this fund in the midcap value style box.
FPACX has done well in 2022 and is doing very well YTD. However, it continues to see outflows (no monthly inflows since 2017!). I am sure he is doing alright with $9.4B AUM and >1% ER for FPACX.
