How Artemis SLS stacks up against the Saturn V moon rocket

Artemis’s initial test flight to the moon is scheduled for launch Monday, August 30 shortly after 8:30 AM from Cape Canaveral, Fla. The flight willy carry no crew. Splashdown in the Pacific should occur about 6 weeks later. First crewed mission to the moon isn’t planned until 2024. This mission will not land on the surface of the moon, but will test various orbits / maneuvers in the moon’s vicinity.
