Wahoo-bonga! The Orange Disgrace not on CO ballot.
The CO Supreme Court issued a ruling but suspended it pending an appeal to the US Supreme Court.
Judicial/political games:
• A lower Colorado court issued a ruling barred Trump from the state ballot, finding that Trump had participated in an insurrection against the United States.
• That was of course appealed to the Colorado Supreme Court, which narrowly upheld the lower court ruling, by a 4/3 vote.
• Knowing full well that this ruling would be immediately appealed to the US Supreme Court, the CO SC paused the ruling to allow time for that. Undoubtedly also knowing that the US Supreme Court will surely overrule them, letting the US SC take the heat for that, and staying out of too much trouble with the Colorado voters.
The states of Michigan and Minnesota have failed to pass the same vote. We shall see how far this goes.
The US Supreme Court now have a hot issue on their hands with DOJ Special Council Jack Smith request ruling on the absolute immunity question on presidents. Same thing that Richard Nixon said 40 years ago and that is troubling. We all know how Nixon case concluded as a disgraced president.
BTW, his lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, once called “America’s mayor” filed for bankruptcy protection today. There are real consequences those who lies willfully to cause harm.

This whole thing is nothing more than Kabuki Theater.
Did anyone actually believe that the $1.5 billion judgement against Alex Jones would actually ever be collected?
Does anyone actually believe that the $148 million judgement against Rudy Giuliani will actually ever be collected?
Does anyone actually need to wonder why so many people are terminally cynical about the current condition of the US legal system, especially at the very top?
If you have enough money you are essentially able to say anything that you want to destroy other people and the civil structures of the United States, with few if any real consequences. Money talks at the Supreme Court.
We just sat there and watched as Mitch McConnell single-handedly prevented President Obama from exercising his right to appoint a Supreme Court Justice, and single-handedly opened the path to the perverted version of the Supreme Court that will be governing us for many years to come.
Sad truth, ya......... But when I read those penalty amounts, I took it seriously, because the Legal System ought to be representing a true and good purpose. I guess these days, the ought-word is operative. And yes, McConnell the pigfart stonewalled and won.
Our government is not designed to work effectively when one big bunch takes it seriously, and acts in good faith, while the other big bunch behaves like saboteurs.
